There is no getting around the reality that we all have our good and not so good habits. Simply defined, a “habit” is an acquired pattern of behavior regularly followed until it becomes almost involuntary. While it is often quite easy to determine our “bad” habits, let’s focus on the good.
Take a moment to look at yourself. What are the following habits that define your best self? Use the list below to check off which habits apply to you.
_____You make time for yourself.
_____You challenge yourself.
_____You educate yourself.
_____You understand guilt, acknowledge it, and move on.
_____You know healthy doesn’t mean just going to the gym.
_____You are financially astute.
_____You take time to laugh.
_____You accept who you are – both your good and bad qualities.
_____You set yourself goals and methods for keeping track of them.
_____You celebrate wins, both big and small.
_____You express gratitude.
_____You help others through selfless acts of kindness.
Now…for any habit not yet checked off, what can you do to change it into your success?
